Yesterday's fever dream started with a picnic in a grocery store parking lot, continued with half a beer and passing out slumped over a crashpad for an hour or two or three as the sun set over an alpine crest, and ended above 2000m perched on a warm rock to see the most spectacular lunar eclipse of my lifetime emerging from a jagged peak on a backdrop of the Milky Way, shooting stars, and insane full sky lightning without clouds. It's not yet clear to me if any of this really happened. And then Camus, alone with my coffee and the mountains the next morning.
