Back in Germany, and decompressing. Unsure whether it would be a summer to remember, or summer at all (the previous summer literally never arrived), we took advantage of the first hints of warmth.
It would be a summer, it turned out, like a furnace. Weeks of blisteringly hot, beautiful, sunny days at the river. After so many days toting a camera, however, it was also a summer of few photographic exposures.
