Our first full day in the park together, Steffi and I saw the Big 5... for the second time. It's worth noting the first shot in the series was me taking a quick exposure of nothing to make sure my camera was set right while waiting for a leopard that was rumored to be lurking down in the scrub. It wasn't until many months later, processing the images, that I realized the leopard is in that test shot-- and had I only shot a little lower would have captured its whole body!
