Thursday
LOCATION: Yogyakarta, Indonesia
APPEARING: Steffi | Andy
Spent the day on the train from Jakarta to Yogyakarta (pronounced: "jog-ja-karta"), passing suburban sprawl, small villages, dense jungle, and mountain passes cloaked in clouds. Just out of site many of Indonesia's 129 active volcanoes loomed.

And then Andy took us to one of the more interesting street stalls I've ever seen. "Traditional Jogja food," I think he said. Among the innards on offer were whole quails with various stages of developing eggs still inside the reproductive tract, and a full chicken's head on a stick. Yum, I ate both. The turmeric tea, was incredible.
