My parents came into the city and we went out to eat at Alma, on the water with a view of the city. It was just a stopover on the way to a wedding for my parents. A frantic stopover that included a hectic attempt at a full windsor for my father (See: Rich watching a youtube demonstration of the knot; Steffi and Susan watching him try, fail, and try again), a busy Long Island Express, and a just-made-it-in-time arrival at the wedding. We did have a chance to snap a quick portrait of the two in their fineries.
