When I got to NYC I couldn't get into the apartment because it was locked and Steffi hadn't gotten back from work yet. Brian was in the park and I decided to go up there and wait for a while. It was warm, but not the hot that was predicted to come over the next few days. The first flowering trees were buds out... the leaves ready to burst.
